First Person Arts has awarded Sweaty Robot’s “Happy Birthday Harris Malden” with First Place in their Memior and Documentary Film Contest!

We’re going to show the movie on June 2nd. I wonder if it’ll be on a big ol’ screen, where they will inflate our faces to the size of our egos? When we entered the contest, we figured we’d get their 1st or last place.

Saturdays are pretty special in that I can sleep in, make a real breakfast, watch the last half hour of Roger Rabbit, and STILL be able to make a new Pig Sty in time to shower and catch the 3:45 Da Vinci Code.

Today’s adventure, wolfy hits up an old acquaintance for some assistance.

It has been a long time SR fans. Tim Collins has hoisted the bulk of Sweaty Robot onto his masculine shoulders and I thank God, Vishnu, Zeus, and Allah for that. I know we haven’t been keeping our end of the bargain: “A short a week”, and for that I am sorry (but not really). We have a good excuse for the lack of content. We are working on a HILARIOUS! (Yes all caps and exclamated (is that even a word)) feature titled “Shillers”. There have been script revisions out the wazoo and a brand new business plan for possible investors. Trust us this movie is going to rule your mother and her sisters, your aunts. So, sit tight. We are going to be hitting your retinas with a fresh new short in do time and there’s going to be a totally hot girl in it (hotter than your mom and her sisters, your aunts). Until then remember…

New Pig Sty up today. Sorry about the wait, but I have an EXCELLENT excuse: I was busy. But seriously, I guess I should be more productive, seeing as how these are the only things getting done on this site these days. Eric and Nick, I’m sure, would give the same excuse, citing their “script” and their “feature length film” and their “jobs” and “eating and sleeping.” Puh.

Anyhow, in today’s adventure, Big Bad Wolf wishes he had a couch.
