The new show has been posted. Fun facts about it: Maggie Casey was there when we shot the show. Matt melted Joanne’s plastic stool with his strip of light bulbs. The microphone was turned the wrong way. Juan’s wearing a pair of mesh shorts, but you can’t tell.
If you paid attention and really loved us you would see that Juan is posting the show on Mondays now. BTW, I’m Nick. What’s up? We never met. So…yeah.
Jeez.
The birthing process of Old Duke’s Real Estate has been a long one. I talked to M. Drizzle Shizzle tonight (composer M. Drake Sherman) about the music. He’s on top of it after getting our final edit (more like finally edit! [lame])
Next comes the pain stakingly boring process of audio mixing (I’ll be taking care of that) and color correction (Matt Sanchez on the reds and blues.)
That last paranthetical was also a bad joke. See, I took “on the Ones and Twos” and turned from a DJ phrase to a Color Correcting phrase.
Old Duke is on his way.
Sweaty Robot has an article out in the Philly Edge newspaper, written by Ainsley Maloney. We thank them for their support and appreciate the press.
Another new Sty is done to make up for the one I missed last week.
Today’s adventure: Linus has the Great Pumpkin, Calvin has his naughty/nice list issues, but Pig Sty’s got Thanksgiving locked DOWN with this mildly amusing storyline.
The latest show is out. Right now, the version on the website is working, and the ITunes version is not. Something must have gotten screwed up during the upload. We’ll have it online tonight. We’re all at work, so we can’t upload it now.
That stinks.
New Pig Sty up today. Could be the first of two for the week, but then again I DO have a haircut to get to. Plus that whole deal where it’s hard for me to move if I’m not being paid for it.
Today’s adventure: I may have missed Halloween, but don’t think Pig Sty’s going completely seasonless this year.
Hey everyone, due to technical internet difficulties, the show wil be out on Monday. Have a good weekend!
A new Sweaty Robot joint has been shot. We spent our Sunday making ‘Ol’ Duke’s Real Estate,’ and boy are there are a lot of bodily fluids involved. After making ‘The Fix Up,’ we decided to do something insane. We’ll be editing over the next couple days, and it’ll be online sometime during the week, I’d imagine.
Dear Commenters,
We are very appreciative of all of your criticisms, jokes, compliments, and other words I could type.
It wasn’t long ago that we couldn’t get Joanne to comment, let alone Rando Calrissians. We’re psyched to build up a fan base of people we can talk to about our work.
My keyboard is FILTHY. I just took a second to think about the next line, I looked at the keyboard– this is disgusting. I should get a black keyboard, you can’t tell when they’re dirty.
Keep on commentin,’ we’ll keep on making stuff for your eyeballs and hearing holes.
Titties in Your Mouth,
The Sweaty Robot Gang
Another Pig Sty is in the books, people. Maybe the next time you’re here, watching one of Sweaty Robot’s hilarious videocasts, you can hit pause at the halfway point (about 3 hours through, I think that is) and hop over to the comics section and check out a few strips. Leave a comment, even (unless you use Internet Explorer. It just doesn’t work on that section).
Today’s adventure: Ant attack, part 5. This is the last strip with the ants, so either relish these last few frames, or breathe a sigh of relief and get ready for next week.
