Instead of buying my new copy of “Beard on Food: The Best Recipes and Kitchen Wisdom from the Dean of American Cooking” on Amazon for $17.57, I got it at AbeBooks for $13.75. Four bucks! Not bad, for not having to try at all.
How’d I know to go to AbeBooks? Simple! I used this great Firefox extension called BookBurro.

“When Book Burro senses you are viewing a book, it will add a small panel to the upper right corner.Clicking the panel will trigger the agent to go query for prices at other book sites and check your local libraries for availability.” (Book Burro Website)
It installs simply, it knows when you’re looking at a book, and quietly tells you that you could be paying less.

This is awesome, but would be more awesome if it recognized that you were at a library catalog page, rather than just amazon pages.
