Hot Chip Show

I went to the Hot Chip show at the Starlight Ballroom in Philadelphia. Dancing and fun.

Watch out, the video’s loud.

Spring is Almost Here

Here are some pictures of those trees which might be cherry blossoms. Are they? I’m not a botanist.

Listen to ‘Radiolab’ Now

There’s a show on the radio called ‘Radiolab,’ which will bend, crunch, and twist your mind– in a good way.  If you’re not into listening on an old-timey soundbox, then you can also subscribe to the podcast.  Hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich journey into topics which dissect the human condition in a way you’ve never quite heard before.   Rather than over-write a whole bunch of praise, I’ll link to some of my favorite episodes, and you can decide for yourself.

Sleep . Memory & Forgetting . Time

I’ll restrict myself to these three, but I really feel like linking to most of them.

Gmail Slammed with Spam

[ *** EDIT ***

Yup, turns out that Google wasn’t at fault.  As Nick pointed out, it was the GoDaddy email account forwarding that was the problem.  Nick, Juan, and I got drowned in over 4000 spam messages.  Sorry for making assumptions, Google.]

I got blasted with a ton of Spam this afternoon. What happened, Google?

Savages Attack Ambulance

I found this picture in a CNN article about Britney Spears being taken to the hospital.

Paparazzi Around Britney’s Ambulance

How disgusting is this scene?  I don’t want to say too much about it, lest I come off as a preachy, annoying loser.  I just made this really quickly, and decided to throw it up here.

I think Chris Crocker said it best.  Leave Britney alone.

Slate Editor on Bush

Terry Gross conducts a great interview of Slate Magazine’s Jacob Weisberg on her NPR show, “Fresh Air,” for his new book, “The Bush Tragedy.”
